Rev. Roger L. Abadano was born on October 19, 1978. He earned a Bachelor of Arts major in Philosophy and a Bachelor in Sacred Theology. He was ordained to the priesthood on February 16, 2011, at Mary, Queen of Peace (Our Lady of EDSA), Quezon City.

He has held several pastoral and administrative roles within the Prelature of Batanes, Philippines, including Diocesan Oeconomus (Diocesan Finance Officer), Diocesan Youth Director, Campus Minister, and Rector of Santo Domingo Cathedral.

On July 1, 2015, Rev. Abadano began his ministry in the Diocese of Richmond. Shortly thereafter, he was appointed by the late Bishop Francis X. DiLorenzo as Parish Administrator of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Onley, Virginia. On August 17, 2020, he was appointed Pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lovingston, Virginia, and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Amherst, Virginia.

In 2023, Rev. Abadano also served as Spiritual Adviser to the Filipino-American Community in Charlottesville, Virginia.
