The Filipino-American Catholic Community brings together members from all four Catholic churches in Charlottesville.

Today, we joyfully celebrated our first Simbang Gabi Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish. Many Filipinos working at UVA Health consider St. Thomas their spiritual home, making this celebration especially meaningful.

We are deeply grateful to Fr. Walter, who has always welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm. He truly loves celebrating Simbang Gabi! From the very beginning, when our community was just forming, Fr. Walter envisioned our growth and opened the doors of St. Thomas to host our celebrations.
